Privacy Policy

• Account details — your name, email address and profile picture from Google when you sign in, your company name, and the team members you invite.
• What you set up — the tour links, competitors, searches and settings you add, and the alerts we generate for you.
• Billing — your plan, subscription status and invoices. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach us.
• Usage — pages you visit and actions you take in TourRank (for example adding a tour or opening an alert), with a random identifier stored in your browser, plus technical error reports. We use this only to understand and improve the product.
• Free rank check — the listing link you check and, if you choose to leave it, your email address so we can follow up.
• Support requests — information you share when you contact us.

The service also stores publicly available information about marketplace listings (titles, ratings, prices, availability), which can include business names. Review analysis processes publicly available review text to identify service themes and sentiment. For selected companies, we retain review text for internal analysis. We exclude reviewer account names and profile information and remove known reviewer labels, handles and email addresses from the text. Review prose may still contain personal information. Original review text is not shown to customers or included in customer exports.

• To provide the service you signed up for and bill for it — performance of a contract.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, fix errors and improve features — our legitimate interests.
• To contact you about your account, alerts, your subscription and important changes — contract and legitimate interests. Marketing emails only with your consent, and you can opt out at any time.
• To meet accounting and tax obligations — legal obligation.
• To analyse public feedback about tour services and improve review insights — our legitimate interests, balanced against the rights of the people concerned. You can contact us to object to this processing or request removal of review information.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Your browser stores your sign-in session and a random analytics identifier, both of which are needed for the service to work and are only read by TourRank.

Only with service providers that help us run TourRank, under data processing terms:

• hosting and database providers (EU or with appropriate safeguards);
• Google, for sign-in;
• our payment provider (Stripe), for subscriptions, invoices and tax;
• an email provider, when we send you emails.
• AI processing providers, when we analyse reviews and listing content.

We may also disclose data when required by law. If data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on adequacy decisions or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your account data is deleted immediately and removed from backups within 30 days. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires. Usage and error logs are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted or anonymised.

Retained review text is kept while the company's review-text storage is enabled. It is removed when storage is disabled, the associated listing or company is deleted, or a complete source refresh confirms that the review has been removed. You can also request removal by contacting +31 6 34879007. Copies in backups expire within 30 days.

You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data, object to or restrict certain uses, and withdraw consent. You can export your data and delete your account yourself in Settings; for anything else contact us at +31 6 34879007. You can also complain to the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), www.cnpd.pt.

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted to what each part of the service needs, and each company's data is kept separate from every other company's.
